How to show the ask price on MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 charts

By default, MT4/MT5 charts show the bid price only.
If interested in having the ask price shown on your trading terminal follow the next steps:
- Right-click on the chart and select "Properties"
- In the "Properties" window, click the "Common" tab
Tick "Show Ask line" and then click "Ok"
Buy orders get executed at the ask price, as well as the closure of Sell orders.
- A buy order is opened at the ask price and closed at the bid price.
- A sell order is opened at the bid price and closed at the ask price.
Please also note that Buy stop, Buy limit, as well as Take Profit and Stop-Loss orders are triggered at the ask price.
